This makes me want to have another wedding *to the same guy*

I have been scouring for circus themed party favors and I stumbled across this amazing circus wedding.

 

How freaking rad are they? I love it! I wish I had a tent for our big day. I really want to find those huge balloons for our bebe shower. I found these DIY medallions for the Grandmothers.
I also found some gorgeous floral centerpiece ideas.
I have to keep reminding myself this is a baby shower and not a wedding. When we did our flowers for the wedding we were so novice and there was no blogs we could research to get *steal* great ideas. Although I did religiously read Martha Stewart Weddings our centerpieces were a bit yawn. I would never use these bouquets today *icky*!

I want to find a fabulous spring yellow *since our shower will be in May* dress and Antz will coordinate with me. I am curious to see what kind of shoes I will be able to wear by 8 months.
Still chained to the bed. 🙁 I am so bummed because I’m going to miss my date with Aimee on Friday. We were going to see Where the Wild Things Are.

Our First Ultrasound

We had our first ultrasound this morning. We got to see our little nugget. Disappointedly, we couldn’t see the fetal pole or the heartbeat yet. We did see the amniotic sac and my numbers are movin’ on up. Not seeing the heartbeat is mega lame but the doc says we’ll see it next week.

OUR BEBE!

We gave out our expecting cards last week. They turned out fabulous! I can’t wait to start designing the bebe shower invites.

Our friend’s Natalie and Vinny’s wedding is this weekend. Really looking forward to it and I already have something to wear. My shoes may be a problem being that even when I wasn’t preggo they murdered my feet. I am having dinner on Sunday with my old friends from Starbucks. We haven’t seen each other in years. Sucks we are going to a great sushi restaurant and I can’t have any. Today I went to Whole Foods to pick up some bebe-friendly food. I only got a box of spinach, salmon and apples. Antz cooked the salmon and I had a huge salad for dinner. Problem is I am still starving and craving french fries. I’m trying to be good.

So I found this incredible venue in downtown LA for the bebe shower. I got an email with the pricing and brace yourself, they want $4k just for Sunday. That’s not including catering! It is an amazing space

It’s more reasonable to stick with the orginal plan of having it at the W Westwood. It’s $4500 but that includes caterings, tables and chairs, AV use. The way our finances have been looking we will be having the party in good ole Highland Park. Yeah I know it sounds like a wedding budget but this is the last huge party I will be throwing for 18 years-well, 30 years if you count when our kid gets married.

It’s 9/9/09!!

I am about to cook dinner for Antz. I am making steak and baked potatos. I would love some wine with dinner but none in the house. So I promise to write later tonight. I will debut my baby shower theme that I am totally stealing from Hostess with the Mostess. Toodles **I have returned. So as promised take a peek at my dream baby shower.

I love the palette, the French theme, the modern feel, no pastels!! I found most of the decor online and I am starting my search for black chivari chairs. I love themed parties and I found these masks for props to use in the photo booth. Antz has been enlisted to create our invitations, table numbers and posters. Don’t you just adore that yummy circus font?!
