29 …toss a coin in the Trevi fountain, pose pushing the Leaning Tower of Pisa, wear masks while riding in a gondola in Venice {why the fuck didn’t I do this when I was there in 1997!!!} take a pic with a donkey on the top of the grand canyon, take a picture of my fingers squishing Mt. Rushmore, take a pic jumping in front of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign {I’ve done this before *prior to digital photography* and sadly the picture didn’t come out so great} kiss the Blarney stone, basically if its cheesy and touristy I need to do it!!

31 …drink Sangria in Spain, drink Sake in Tokyo, Ouzo in Greece, Chartreuse in Paris and open a champagne bottle using le saberage during a party *possibly New Years*

32 …Build my dream closet/wardrobe. I currently dress like an emo, raver teenager that shops at Hot Topic and Goodwill. *I have never shopped at either stores* I am trying to amass a decent *non embarrassing ADULT wardrobe* I have a slight problem, I’m quirky and I dress for comfort over style. I feel the need to wear hello kitty hats or silly socks. I have come to terms with that is who I am and the world must accept the weirdo inside me. However, I would like to refine myself, a few tweaks in my clothes and shoes. Dress more appropriately for my age *I am often mistaken for a teen mom by strangers*  I would one day like to  *actually turn a bedroom into my dream closet* that takes my breath away.

So lovely

Okay, that one is much too frou-frou for me, but this one is totally rad. Totally my style, super rad, love the size and the shelving.

I would LOVE this room for my meager shoe collection!!
I am sooo not a Miley fan but I heart her dressing room *and her roller skates!*

33. When I hit 100 followers I want to have this blog redesigned by a pro. I already have my heart set on Lindsay Nicole *wink, wink*

34. Go Blonde!! *Shit, it won’t look this bad I hope*

The list is growing…as am I!

Just when I thought we were burned out on Farmers Markets

We are going to the Northridge farmers market tonight when Antz gets home. I am crossing my fingers they have kettle corn because I really want some. It’s over at 9pm. Tomorrow Aimee is coming by to visist me and Liv and we’ll probably go to Larchmont for lunch. Friday we are giving Antz sister Debra her raincheck for dinner and we are taking her to Sedthee *yum!*. This weekend we are going to Solvang for Story’s birthday *which is Sunday* for wine tasting. We went in 2008 and I was designated driver so I didn’t get to partake in the wine goodness.

They are biking 14 miles before the tasting *I know, they are nutters* and we are meeting them at the Shoestring Winery. Well, it’s almost 6 so I need to get ready. I will post pics and Liv’s week 15 later tonight

*As promised Olivia Lily 15 weeks old*

I love that she has found her feet *so rad* Story commented on facebook that she hopes the egg that is hatching is a dinosaur!! LOL!

25 Before I’m 75 *revision*

em..gee!! I just stumbled upon this ridiculously rad life list *makes my meager list look silly*

Can I just steal hers and start over? I suppose I could have put much more thought and imagination into mine. Ride a camel…hells yeah…in Egypt…even better…watch the sunset at the pyramids…yes please…why didn’t I think of these?? I knew these things were inside my brain but seeing Mighty Girl Maggie’s list has dug them out of the graveyard my brain filed them under.

He needs me, He needs me

Antz and I are obsessed with this song *and I adore Shelly Duvall*

Today is a ho-hum type of day. Nothing extraordinary planned. I could go to Target but I’m staying home since my Mom is due in town and may drop by. I just gave Liv a bath and she is contently napping on her playmat. I have New Orleans on my mind. Yesterday I called and the hotel is indeed sold out for that weekend. The reservations agent is supposed to email me if anyone cancels but that may be unlikely. I so could use a vacation but I’m not sure New Orleans is the best place for Olivia. Our friends will want to spend their time in the bars and I would rather hang out in the cemetary *and meet a real witch doctor*. Keith & Tina know some people who could babysit for us but I’m not so keen on leaving her with strangers. I would much rather take her to San Francisco for her first flight. We are familiar with the city, it’s much more bebe friendly and there is a W there *#18*

*we stayed at the W in San Jose*

Virgin America is having a sale for flights from LA to SF for $49 each way. It would be awesome to go for our anniversary but then we’d miss our annual Duke’s Malibu dinner

Last year they changed the surf n’ turf to Polynesian steak. I am hoping this year it’s back to the original. We plan on taking Liv *hoping she’ll sleep the entire time*

Happy August & Happy Birthday Olivia!!

That’s right, my favorite month is here and Olivia is now 2 months old!! So exciting

Keith & Tina’s pool party was fabulous *despite the chilly weather* We went to Aimee’s first to pick up my BabyHawk and give Aimee her router *she was so happy* then we arrived in Westchester at 3:30. We thought we were late but we were the first to arrive. Soon after Story & Chris showed up. Keith & Tina’s kitchen remodel looks incredible *as expected* I forgot to take pictures but we will be going over there again on Labor Day weekend
Olivia was fantastic in the water!! She really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to take her swimming again.

Keith & Tina have a vacation condo in New Orleans and they invited us to come out there for Halloween. I really want to go. I’ve been wanting to visit New Orleans for a year now *they have 2 W hotels!* Problem is, the airfare is really expensive and it seems the W in the French Quarter is booked Halloween weekend. I can still call the hotel and see if any rooms are available. Look how pretty!

25 Before I’m 35 or 75!

Now that my dearest has hit 35 years old!

I’ve been thinking of how quickly I’m approaching my 35th and I need to get as much done as I possibly can. I need to get working on my Bucket list now, its been 8 months since I even thought about this list.

1…See our child graduate from University *optimisticly with honors from Oxford*

2…Go to Buñol, Spain for La Tomatina *tomato throwing festival*

3…See Bjork play live at Glastonbury in the UK and in Reykjavík, Iceland

4…take my kid to a presidential inauguration *hopefully Obama will be re-elected in 2012*

10…Volunteer at an Animal Shelter

11…Visit all 5 Disneyland Theme Parks *California, Florida, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong*

12…give birth naturally *drug-free* keeping my finger crossed on this one *sadly I succumbed to 3 epidurals but I did give birth*

13…attend the red carpet at a major awards show *Golden Globes or Academy Awards*

14…create a blog dedicated to my life travels

15…renew our wedding vows in Hawaii for our 10 year anniversary

16…purchase a hybrid environmentally-friendly car

17…purchase an airstream and road trip throughout North America

18…stay at 50 W hotels around the world *47 to go*

19…see Olivia compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington DC

20…renovate my house or our next house

21…have our nursery/home featured on Ohdeedoh blog *DONE!*

22…spend one year living abroad *London or Paris would be dreamy*

23…attend the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics *planning to go to London 2012*

25…spend Christmas at a Bed & Breakfast in Canada *Montreal ideally*

In retrospect, these are mostly my outlandish daydreams. I like to set my ambitions high so when incredible things do happen to me *Winning the Showcase Showdown on the Price is Right, marrying the man of my dreams, buying our house {with hardly any money}, giving birth to our lovely and exquisitely beautiful, daughter and sneaking into an after party at a Bjork concert* You kinda start waking up with the expectation of “what odd occurance will happen today?” I am pretty sure that purchasing/renovating my dream house in Atwater Village, our London Olympics vacation, volunteering at an animal shelter, and buying an Airstream will be crossed off in the next 2 years.

I want to get hitched so bad!!

For the past year I have been lusting after this beauty!

Design Within Reach 16’7″ Airstream travel

This month’s issue of Sunset magazine is only adding to my misery with a cover of this lovely and a feature about renting Airstreams and camping at Big Sur *which is on my top 5 camp destinations*.

There are a few problems *besides the obvious, price $65,000 with all the bells and whistles* standing in the way of me and my dream to Airstream-land, I read the towing capacity and it seems that Antz Honda Element isn’t heavy enough to tow it. Also, the DWR custom airstream appears to only be available in San Francisco but now that I think of it, it would be better to fly to SF and pick it up and drive it down the coast.

Super Sunday

Has it really been a week? I LOVE having Antz at home. I am going to be so bummed when he has to go back to work on the 5th. Today we took our Angel to the Montrose Farmers Market.

No idea why we look so forlorn but it could be sleep deprivation. The band was sweet, they placed Dixieland music that reminded me of New Orleans Square at Disneyland.
Our Olivia slept for most of the day. You can see her hair is getting curlier by the minute!
I bought kettle corn, Antz bought lamb/chicken kebabs. We bought these sweet flowers for Liv’s nursery.

I was going to buy strawberries for my *pie* but Antz made a strong point, I have cornbread and vanilla cupcakes in the pantry that I promised to make when we got the new stove and that was in March. So I have to make those before I venture into pie making. I did pick up some strawberries at Fresh & Easy today. I plan to make strawberry lemonade. We really need to take Olivia to Baby Gap. She needs short sleeve onesies, a sun hat and a dress for her photo shoot in July. We will go to the Glendale Galleria tomorrow because we have a lunch date with Gilli on Tuesday. Today has been heaven, Liv and I took a long *4 hours is long now-a-days* and Antz made me a lovely glass of Mimosa. I wish I could make time freeze because I see changes in Liv everyday and I love her smallness and I don’t want her to grow up 🙁 Antz is looking forward to her getting older *walking age* so we can take her to more places. I can’t tell you how desperately I want to go on vacation *ideally The Atlantis in the Bahamas*. I have to stay focused and save for the 2012 Olympics because they are right around the corner. It seems everyone laughs when I tell them we are taking Olivia but I am used to proving people wrong.

The Late, late, late super later night show

Insomnia has returned with a vengeance. I fell asleep around 11pm and have been awake since 2am. I have been looking for more pose ideas/hairstyles/props for the photo shoot. I stumbled upon this site that is making me reconsider my push present choice. I have always swooned over Tiffany & Co jewelry so I mentioned *a hundred times* to Antz if he was lacking gift ideas for me he could get me this bracelet.

Now I am loving these Baby name rings from Love & Victory

These fonts are stellar and I could have her birthday engraved on it. I think a ring would last me much longer than a bracelet *I tend to break things due to my extreme clumsiness* It’s also an heirloom I could pass along to her in the future.

So many of my friends have been asking what travel plans we have once Olivia is born. Also, upon hearing the rad news that Antz nephew and his wife are joining the Peace corps spending 27 months in South America AND Antz Best Man at our wedding, quit his job, sold his car and has been travelling the world extensively *he basically lives in Brazil at the moment*. It really has me feeling like I need to amp up our Wanderlust savings. I am pretty solid for 2012 London Olympics *one month before our 10th anniversary* but after that most of our travel may be domestic. There are so many amazing places I’d love to travel to but with Antz job and our funds, I need be creative *frugal* in our travel planning. My current obsession is the Mediterranean. We have been to Venice, Italy but we MUST go to Rome, Pisa, Naples, Greece, Athens and Istanbul.

How fucking gorgeous is Santorini, Greece?? Celebrity cruises has an amazing itinerary for the Mediterranean but I worry spending only 5 hours or so in each port will be worth it? Plus cruises make me think of *pirates, storms, virus outbreaks, and the elderly* although to be fair, it’s the most economic way to see many places and have the same room the entire trip. Celebrity has great reviews for their service, food and amenities but with that comes a heavy price tag. Maybe for our 15th anniversary *again wishful thinking*

Whew, what a great Sunday

We did wake up before 9am this morning. My Mom stopped by on her way to her house in the desert to order our baby shower gift.

I was thinking about getting this cover for the car seat but I’m not sure it will fit.

We went to Antz nephew’s *Dion & Evelyn* apartment to see it.

They have a 1920’s apartment with one of those old creepy elevators. Dion & Evelyn are newlyweds and in February they are joining the PeaceCorps. They are being assigned to South America. I am mega excited for them!! His brother Cayce, and his wife met us at the apt and we all went to brunch at this place Dion loves. He knows the owner so we got a private room all to ourselves. The place was really nice on Melrose and the food was AMAZING!

Enjoying my strawberry and brown sugar crepe. After brunch we went to the Grove and walked around. We went to Nordstrom and I looked at the Ugg Boo in chestnut. I would rather get the Erin’s in blue so my only choice is ordering them online.

It was a pretty day today and we strolled around the farmers market and had ice cream.

I had Dion & Evelyn take a pic with the travel angel.

When I was 18, I wanted to join the PeaceCorps and I applied but when I was assigned to 2 months of training in Arizona, I backed out. If circumstances were different I would totally join and travel the world on the government’s dime. I am so happy Dion & Evelyn can experience that together. They are really a remarkable couple. I hope we have the chance to visit them in the next 2 years. We drove to the thrift shops in Pasadena but of course they were closed. 🙁 I’m pretty tired but I should finish the celeb baby game and clean the kitchen.
